Are you a older adult and looking for activities in Dunedin?

Age Concern Otago offers classes all over the city for over 65’s, as part of their falls prevention programme. Classes include Tai Chi and Strength & Balance. For more information email agecon@ageconcernotago.co.nz or ph 477-1040 Ext 702.

The Octagon Club is a seniors Club for people aged 55 years and over, and offers activities and groups for people to take part in. Contact Rosalie Hines 454 5236 for more information.

The Edgar Centre offers weekly activities through their Keenager Programme. These are casual use sessions and no pre-booking is required. Activities include:
Tennis – Monday 9.30am – 11.00am
Table Tennis – Tuesday 9.30am – 11.00am
Each session is only $4 which includes all equipment and tea/coffee and biscuits after the activity. Contact the Edgar Centre on 03 456 1200 for more information.

Adult Keep Fit

Tuesday and Thursdays 10.00 – 11.00 am
A relaxed exercise class that includes elements of yoga, pilates and weight training
